Teri Cordes Registered Dental Hygienist Teri started working for Dr. Appeldoorn in 1978. She has seen many changes over the years. Teri enjoys meeting and getting to know new patients as well as seeing the established ones. Many patients request to see her for their routine visits. Teri and her husband live in Farmington and have two adult daughters. In her spare time, she and her husband enjoy golfing, camping, and some winter travel.
Donna Halverson Registered Dental Hygienist Donna has been working here since 1978 with a brief absence to attend dental hygiene school in 1992. Donna says, “I like to make sure everyone is current with dental information and aware of what dental services may benefit them.” She very much enjoys meeting and visiting with patients. Donna and her husband live in Lonsdale and have two grown children. In Donna’s spare time she loves to read and take their black lab for walks.
Lois Langerak Registered Dental Hygienist Lois began her career as a dental assistant in 1973. She worked as an assistant for 20 years and decided to go back to school to study dental hygiene. Lois has enjoyed getting to know her patients over the years, as well as meeting new patients. Lois and her husband Ed, a philosophy professor at St. Olaf College, have led groups of students and older adults on study/travel abroad programs. They have two adult children, Emily and Matt. Lois’s hobbies include walking, biking, reading and, of course, traveling.
Kay Pfahning Registered Dental Hygienist Kay joined Professional Drive Dental in 2000 after working in the periodontal field. Kay enjoys meeting patients of all ages and getting to know the community better through her patients. Kay and her husband live in rural Northfield and have three children—one in college and two at home. Kay is an avid runner and bike rider. She has run in a number of marathons, including Grandma’s Marathon in Duluth, Minnesota. She also likes to read and do some gardening.
Dina Maas Registered Dental Hygienist Dina has been a hygienist in our office since 1998. She previously worked as a dental assistant in the Faribault area before returning to hygiene school. Dina sees patients of all ages, but says having kids in her schedule is a highlight of any day. Dina and her husband live in Faribault and have a grown son and daughter. You will often find Dina camping on weekends with her husband. She also finds time to read and do some biking.
